A blog is a shortened way to say “Weblog“. A log is a recording of something day to day. So a weblog is a day to day recording on the internet (web). The word “blog” can also used as a verb meaning to maintain or add content to a blog. Blogs are usually a site on the computer like an electronic diary or a place to write what happens to you. They usually are in text. Some blogs can be art blogs (blogs that display art), photo blogs (blogs that display photos such as photos of your vacation). There is also micro blogging which contains small posts.
